TA2 Titanium Alloy Plate

Material Characteristics:

Chemical Composition: TA2 titanium alloy belongs to industrial pure titanium. The titanium content is generally above 99%, and it also contains a small amount of impurity elements such as iron, carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, and oxygen. Compared with TA1, its impurity content is slightly higher, which also leads to certain differences in its performance compared with TA1.

Mechanical Properties: Its strength is higher than that of TA1. The tensile strength is usually between 440 - 590MPa. It has good toughness and fatigue resistance, and can withstand relatively large external forces and deformations without damage. It is suitable for some occasions with high strength requirements.

Corrosion Resistance: Similar to TA1, TA2 can also exhibit good corrosion resistance in many corrosive media. It can form a stable oxide film to prevent further erosion by corrosive media, and is widely used in corrosive environments such as the chemical industry and the marine field.

Density: The density is also approximately 4.51g/cm³. It is lightweight and has an advantage in applications where it is necessary to reduce weight while ensuring a certain strength, such as in the aerospace and automotive manufacturing industries.

Biocompatibility: It has good biocompatibility, has no toxic or side effects on human tissues, and can be used to manufacture some medical implants and medical devices.
